This is a re-creation of a famous Canadian painting by Group of 7 member Franklin Carmichael in 1927 called "North Shore - Lake Superior". I didn't quite capture the deep turquoise colour of the top sky and lake foreground, but I think it came out really nice.

Yep, looks just like Superior! Wish they had taught about the Group of Seven in elementary school. Very nice! Reminds me of my time there. (-:
