I took a little break from painting over the holidays and came back with this. I think the break did me a lot of good. I love the lighting in this painting. I need work on remembering to keep the paint thin when lining out branches. I keep forgetting to wet my brush enough to get the thin little lines.
Yepp, paint thinner does miracles. Sometimes I need to try it up to three times to make it work but when it does, I do get raisor sharp branches!
