This whole painting was one big "happy accident". I started out thinking I was going to a painting of the moon just above the clouds with mountaintops peeking through the clouds. Then I saw that it started looking more like a moonlit sea and just went with it.
Oooh, it's awesome that you could switch gears and adapt with the painting. Beautiful moonlit seascape!

This is really special. The moonlight on the water and what you did with all of the different types of water here is just outstanding LM.
My first thought was 'The Giant's causeway', with the basalt rocks!

I really like the light through the waves and the spray from the crashing waves. Wonderful!
