Water Mill

Haven’t painted in awhile so I decided I needed to challenge myself. Took this idea from a photo I saw. Hardest part was the wheel and fall of the water. Do need to add some shadow to the corner to the left of the door but had already cleaned up. Will let it dry a bit and go back with that. Also I think the white trees needs to be highlighted to look like a birch. But of course you notice these things after you’re done! The stones foundation is a little dark but I had fun with it. I made the stones by scratching the lines in. In the end, I felt it turned out nice.
