I was contemplating starting a different painting but I opted for trying another Kevin Hill tutorial from my brothers Xmas gift...(yes you guys must be tired of Kevin hill already) I tried changing up the fence part of this painting as I thought the left side corner was a little dull without something. We had so much snow in NJ that I wanted to paint something springlike this weekend too! Hope you like it! 18x24 canvas
Love this. Your highlights and shadows are next level. Love the little touch of blue on the tree bark. Great textures also.

Lzicchinella , wonderful painting! Path with shadows and bright light is outstanding! Level of details decreases in the distance and draws the eye to that pink tree. The path also helps to tell the story and walk the eye to the tree. Awesome painting!

Very pretty. I needed some springtime today. Oddly I started a similar Kevin Hill painting on Feb 6 but got frustrated and didn't finish it. I am now inspired to try again!

Spectacular! The vibrant pink flowering tree really draws my eye. And the transition from shadow to light guides me right down the path. I especially like the detail of the fence on the right-hand side.
