I did this on a 16x20. A friend sent me some pictures of the lake by her house and I used those pics as inspiration to paint this one. I put her daughter silhouetted in the painting too. I love how the sky and water came out.
Such kind words!!! Thank you so much for saying that! I really did try hard to take my time on that sky. I let it dry and then came back and added some more details and the sunrays.
