Original Creation

walking on the wet street

Lzicchinella 28 Mar 2021

I wanted to try something looser and more abstract than what I normally paint and I liked just throwing paint up and trying to loosen up on my brush strokes and making more use out of the palette knife. I did follow Stephen Conways tutorial to get my feet wet on this style. I think my people could have been a little bigger too. This was done on a 16x20 canvas.

The trees and lampposts are really lovely and the reflections are terrific. Perhaps the people could have been just a bit bigger but I think the perspective works just fine! Very nice painting!

Nice loosen-up painting! Nice texture!

I love this type of painting. So many colours.
