I like your style so I tried it. Do you usually under paint first or just use the canvas naturally and leave it blank?
You did great Job MHK. I think this is difficult to just paint with lines. I was surprised that Voy can do it within few minutes. I think there should be a trained eye and sharp hand.
You know, the hardest part with this painting was listening to some loud upbeat music while painting. I normally never do that but felt in the mood so ....
Did you do sketch with pencil before?
Do you guys do sketches before? I do not see pencil at all.
I never sketch up front Sunnylady, always put the creation directly on paper or canvas, rough and natural! :)
This is what is difficult for me to paint recognizable something without sketching with just few lines. That's impressive how you guys do it!

Your strokes seems more natural then mine, I guess you used a larger canvas for this beautiful creation! Your daughter must be very wild about this!!
For this one, no canvas was used by me but only a piece of drawing paper. I found the effect of guache (I used no oils) directly on that paper very rewarding and natural. It was a test for the dagger brush that I used which I am totally unaccustomed to!
