Just completed my painting class with these two 10 year old twins. I thought they did a great job and really enjoyed it. It was fun for myself too. We'll have to do it again sometime.

Wonderful and good for you for painting with them! They did awesome! How did it go painting with them? I paint with my kids as well and sometimes it’s a bit too long and challenging for them.

Thanks HLarson. The girls did pretty good. They both at first got easily upset something wasn't looking quite right. But as we went along I showed them how we don't make mistakes we just have happy accidents. This was a great one for time too. Took us about 2 hours. Much longer and it would have been too long in my opinion.
Wow, they smoked it! Two hours is flying! I agree on that timeframe. We’ve soldiered through some longer painting sessions and I’m trying to figure out how to shorten it up to keep it fun for them. They love the idea right now, it’s just trying to manage expectations while still building resilience. Right now I’m a fan of “practice on cardboard with the workshop DVD” until we’ve had enough!
Kudos to you Matt. The girls paintings are awesome and I bet they will hang onto them for a long time.
