Albina Mali‑Hočevar (1925 – 2001) was a Yugoslav Partisan fighter, serving during World War II and various political roles in the Yugoslav Communist Party. She was involved in the liberation movement, serving as a liaison, nurse, and secretary in the 1st Slovenian Brigade. She wasn't just a fighter, but also a lifelong contributor to the post‑war rebuilding of her country.
During her service, she was wounded several times, suffering severe facial injuries that left her disfigured and resulted in the loss of one eye. Despite her injuries, she continued to serve courageously. In 1953 she received the prestigious Order of the People’s Hero from socialist Yugoslavia.
