Anna Freud (1895 - 1982) was a psychoanalyst and a significant figure in the field of child psychology. Born in 1895, she was the youngest child of Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis. She made notable contributions to understanding child development, and the impact of early experiences on personality formation.
She advocated for the application of psychoanalytic principles in understanding and supporting children's emotional well-being. Her work notably emphasized the importance of the ego in managing conflicts and also adapting to reality.
This was also the poster which I painted for International Women's Day and it was displayed in the school. I know that I didn't really do it well because I also got a job to paint other portraits for the entire weekend.
