Bora Đorđević (1952 – 2024) was a Serbian rock musician, singer, songwriter and poet, who was the frontman of the rock band "Riblja Čorba". He began his musical career in the early 1970s and rose to prominence in 1978. It quickly became one of the most influential rock acts in the former Yugoslavia, known for their hard rock sound and his sharp, often controversial lyrics.
He's known for his bold and satirical commentary on politics, society, and human nature. His lyrics frequently challenged authority and social norms, earning him acclaim and criticism. Beyond music, he published several books of poetry and prose, establishing his reputation as a provocative and outspoken artist. He's a significant figure in the musical landscape of the Balkans, even after his death.
