Brankovina is a historic village, located near the town of Valjevo, Serbia. It's also one of the historical landmarks of the Serbian history and culture. It also hosted the well known Serbian poet, Desanka Maksimović (1898 - 1993), who spent her childhood and completed primary school there.
The Church of the Holy Archangels is a historic Serbian Orthodox church built in the early XIX century. It's also a part of the Brankovina complex and is known for its traditional architecture and rich iconography. It remains an important cultural landmark in Serbia.
