Danube Park is an urban park located in the town of Novi Sad, the capital of the Vojvodina Province, Serbia. Established in 1895, it's one of the symbols of the city. Once a marshy Danube backwater, now it's protected as a natural monument. Today, it still remains a tranquil retreat and a symbol of city's natural heritage.
It features a central pond with a small island, with ducks and turtles, and it's also surrounded by over 600 trees, with over 250 plant species. Monuments from the park are dedicated to Serbian writers, Miroslav Antić and Đura Jakšić.
