Eduard Khil (1934 – 2012) was a Russian singer and composer known for his vocal style and distinctive voice. He gained widespread popularity in the 1970s with his performances in the genres of pop and light music.
He's famous for the song "Я о́чень рад, ведь я, наконе́ц, возвраща́юсь домо́й" (English: "I Am Glad, 'Cause I'm Finally Returning Back Home"). This song is also humorously referred to as the "Trololo Song", and it became an Internet meme.
