Koča Popović (1908 – 1992) was a Yugoslav communist revolutionary, commander, and politician. He played a role in World War II, commanding of the Partisans and later became the Chief of the General Staff of the Yugoslav People's Army.
After the war, he held prominent political positions, serving as Yugoslavia's foreign minister from 1953 to 1965. He was known for his strategic thinking, and surrealist artistic background, and he was also a unique figure in Yugoslav history.
