Koča Popović (1908 – 1992) was a Yugoslav communist revolutionary, military commander, and politician. He played a key role in World War II as a commander of the Yugoslav Partisans and later became the Chief of the General Staff of the Yugoslav People's Army.
After the war, he held prominent political positions, including serving as Yugoslavia's foreign minister (1953–1965). Known for his intellect, strategic thinking, and surrealist artistic background, he was a unique figure in Yugoslav history.
