"Pada vlada" (“The Government is falling”) is a song by Momčilo Bajagić Bajaga for the 2003 Serbian comedy film "Profesionalac". The song quickly entered everyday political discourse and has since been chanted and sung at protests across Serbia.
Although it achieved cult status, Bajaga distanced himself from it, considering it too controversial. He declined repeated invitations to perform it at political rallies and at protests, explaining that he doesn't engage in politics to support one side over another. But still, he didn't oppose others performing or playing the song.
As of 2025, it has become a key anthem of the ongoing protests across Serbia. It's refrain is chanted at protest against corruption and dictatorship, especially after the 2024 Novi Sad tragedy. The song has also become a symbol of public dissent.
