Tara National Park is a protected natural area, located in western Serbia. The park was established on July 13th, 1981. It spans 25,000 hectares and includes mountain ranges, Tara and Zvijezda. It's bordered by the Drina River between Bajina Bašta in Serbia and Višegrad in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It's known for its dense forests, which cover about 83.5% of the area, making it one of the most well-preserved regions in Europe.
Tara is a mountain located in western Serbia and it's part of the Dinaric Alps. Many visitors can enjoy a variety of activities including hiking, cycling, wildlife watching, and exploring scenic viewpoints with breathtaking views. The mountain's slopes are clad in dense forests with numerous high-elevation clearings and meadows, steep cliffs, deep ravines carved by the nearby Drina River, and many karst caves.
