Pablo Picasso (1881 – 1973) was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, and one of the influential artists of the XX century, who's known for co-founding the Cubist movement. His style evolved constantly, spanning realism, surrealism, and abstraction, and he produced over 20,000 artworks in his lifetime.
Exceptionally prolific throughout the course of his long life, he achieved universal renown and immense fortune for his revolutionary artistic accomplishments, and became one of the best-known figures in XX century art.
Your drawing is strong, while acknowledged great artist; it is difficult for me to respect him as a human who didn't have the best track record where it comes to women.
This is an EXCELLENT!!! drawing! the subject matter is inconsequential as is anyone's thoughts or feeling on any subject another artist chooses. The time that must have gone into this drawing and the time it has taken for this artist to get to this level is the topic of discussion. I for one fully acknowledge Milan's hard work and effort in perfecting his craft!
Wonderful drawing!
Super painting of this famous man!
The subject and people's feelings about it are absolutely up for discussion.
Remove these things and all you have left is a technical exercise instead of art.
@ Milan: did you do any specific exercises on light and form? It seems like they got even better during the last few weeks
I didn't really do any special exercises, instead, this is the effect of painting so many portraits.
A super portrait!
