Petrovaradin Fortress is a historic fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia, perched on a cliff overlooking the Danube River. It was built in the XVII and XVIII centuries by the Habsburgs, and it was a key military stronghold against the Ottomans.
Today, it’s renowned for its extensive underground tunnels, historic architecture, and panoramic views. The fortress is also famous for hosting the EXIT Festival, a major international music event.
