Toma Zdravković (1938 - 1991) was a legendary Serbian singer, songwriter, and also poet, widely celebrated for his emotional and melancholic songs which captured themes of love, loss, and loneliness. He rose from humble beginnings to become one of the most iconic figures of Yugoslav popular music. His voice and heartfelt lyrics resonated with audiences across generations.
Many of his songs were inspired by his life experiences, often filled with passion, hardship, and romance. Despite personal struggles with poverty and illness, he remained a symbol of authenticity and emotion in music until his death in 1991.
