Church of the Dormition of the Holy Mother of God is a Serbian Orthodox church located in Novi Sad. Built between 1765 and 1774 on the site of an older church, it represents one of the city’s most important Orthodox temples. Designed in the Baroque style, this church is one of the recognizable landmarks of Novi Sad.
The interior is richly adorned, with iconostasis painted by well-known XVIII century artists and finely carved wooden decorations. Throughout history, it has been not only a place of worship but also a symbol of the cultural and spiritual endurance of the city. Now, it's an active parish church and a treasured historical monument.
