Neobus a.d. was a Serbian bus manufacturer which went bankrupt in 2012. It was known for producing urban, suburban, intercity, and articulated bus bodies, often mounted on Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, and MAN chassis. It was established in 1952 in Novi Sad. Production declined after the 2008 financial crisis, and went bankrupt in 2012, ending over 60 years of bus manufacturing tradition in Novi Sad.
Built on the Volvo B10M-55 chassis, and fitted with the Neobus 405G body. They were designed as a solo urban bus, and became a backbone of city transport in Novi Sad, serving on busy routes for decades. Their distinctive look, loud engine sound, made them a memorable part of transportation history in Serbia.
Despite age, they are remembered as one of the most characteristic bus models of Novi Sad. Over the years, many of them underwent refurbishments, receiving updated interiors, and modernized bodywork, which extended their service life.
