Željko Bebek (1945) is a Bosnian rock and pop singer, widely recognized as one of the most iconic voices in the former Yugoslavia. Born in Sarajevo, he rose to fame as the original lead vocalist of the rock band "Bijelo Dugme", contributing to some of their most famous hits during the 1970s and early 1980s. He's best known for his powerful, emotional voice and charismatic stage presence.
After leaving the band in 1984, he launched his solo career, releasing numerous albums and popular songs that kept him at the top of the regional music charts. Over the decades, he has remained active in music, performing throughout the region and earning a lasting place in the history of regional rock and pop culture. He contributed to shaping the sound of the Yugoslav rock scene.
