I copied this painting from an image I found on the Internet. This is my first time attempting to include animals in a painting.

Reminds me of my youngest sister's style, who was extremely talented, and painted with lots of wavy lines and harmonizing values and tones, in the 70's.

Yes I am totally drawn to ocean images, seascapes, and all the paintings that use a lot of blues and greens.
I have looked at some amazing renderings of whales and other sea creatures and I would love to re-create all of these. Just not enough hours in the day.
