This is the second painting about Ljubljana. I painted by using my photo. I have trouble with painting the willow trees in the spring. They were so much airing and transparent.

Thank you for your comments. It was not so hard to paint. I printed the photo and I put it into a genotherm on which I made a grid. I created an underdrawing with thin brush and light color for each cell of grid. Afterthen I painted the underdrawing. Finally I painted the the small details. Finally I applied a transparent blue painting for the river. I generally waited for drying the paint before I apply another color. During that time I could paint another part of the picture. Unfortunatelly the trees were a hard work, you can see it on the result. On the left side the wall has a problem with perspective. I wanted more parts from that house therefore I changed the picture and I did not want too big wall. This change ruin the perspective of the wall. The mirrored wall is better.

Brilliant stuff here. Well done! I had to google what a genotherm was lol learn something new everyday! I might try a grid painting myself. Again, beautiful work.
