🚨UPDATED PAINTING ATTACHED🚨 Def more happy with my modifications!
Not satisfied with this one but I promised to myself to always post my paintings good or so so.
Buck has a different type of painting. I def need to adjust to that style. But I like him.
Few things will need to be modified: some on my rocks on the right side of the bank, my tree reflections need to be shifted to the left (i guess just 1 shadow needs to be removed and put on the left side of the last left one) to match the shadows of the trees on the ground, tone down the brightness of my right side rocks & remove a couple of them, and add a brighter sun reflection in my creek.
Well I have learned that there is always an up and down depending on several conditions. Don’t worry that is normal. Maybe this scene didn’t fit you style 100% but I still think you did s good job 😀
Nancy this is another really nice one. Buck definitely has another unique style of wet in wet, but he has great information to share. You'll get it just right.
This reminds me of Tonalism paintings. Very nice scene and very calm feeling. Great you are investigating other styles!
This may not be a "Nancy style" painting, but what it is, is a lovely moody painting, I love the way the shadows fall over the ground, nice job 😀

I do think it’s important to try new styles and get out of our comfort zone in order to get better. There are always great little nuggets to get from any painting we do. I have another one of Buck that I will do soon. I will def do more from him since he challenges me! 😀
Looks great Nancy :). You are right about Buck. Very different style. He’s become my favorite artist to watch and I think a lot of that is his style and personality. I sorta liken his approach to painting as puzzle pieces. He moves all over the board but focuses on the pieces that are common color. You did a great job with this one :)

I Love the „Alexander Connection „you did a Great Job here . Totally difficult to work out details with such dark pictures and Buck is again special as I think.😎🇩🇪
By visiting BA's website, I got to discover some amazing artists. Buck is my new one. 😀 I totally agree Dirk! What I also like about Buck is that he is more carefree in his approach. The cool thing is that is works so amazingly. It's ok if not every brush stroke is perfect. That's actually what makes Buck's style so special.
I think every artist has his own small subtleties and approaches. And some are closer to us (in our own style) others less. This also makes it interesting to leave the comfort zone. That's one reason why I try so much 😎
