I really liked Tom’s version so much that I decided to give it a go. I wanted to have fun with this one, since the last painting (barn overtaken by nature) got my brain on fire. Lol!
As you can see from Tom’s compo, I added few extra elements (foggy mountain base, rocks, big evergreen, etc…). I tried things that didn’t work, I scraped it off and started again and again. But it was so much fun. I didn’t want to stop exploring. At the end, I decided to stop right here so I can go about my day. 😁 I hope Bill would be ok with my add-ons.
Thanks Tom for sharing this one. I gotta say you did an outstanding job with the lighting vs. shadowing. We can tell precisely where the sun rays hit the landscape. I wasn’t able to replicate that. You are a real master! 🏆🎨

Wow you made it your own style which I find really nice! Believe it or not, for me it was the toughest painting I did recently. I scraped off so often. Bills paintings often look so easy but they are so hard to make them look good.
I am glad you liked my version and it is already sold which surprised me. Sometimes you think no one will like a painting but then people show you different 😀
