I love painting buildings. Specially old barns. I got inspired from a painting I saw online.
The path is kinda camouflage here. That was my intend. Fresh hay felt on the path while carrying it into the barn. My pond would probably look better without the little rocks in it. It actually looks much better in person. I can always take them off if I get too annoyed with them. Lol!
For once, I am really happy with my sky! I like contrast of my mountains color and the golden hay. Overall, I am happy with it. But not sure yet if this is a final version or not.
⚠️ UPDATE… I made the bottom bunch of cattails bigger and darkened a tad my path. This is now my final version.
Very nice as always. May I ask you a question: How do you get your wheels so beautiful round? Is there any trick?

Thank you Tom! For this one, I projected a circle on the canvas with a projector. But you could trace it before hand. I didn’t put any liquid white/clear on the barn so following the outline drawn on the canvas would make it easier. For small wheels like you saw in other paintings, I did it by hand.

Tom, the projectors for phones are at a fair price. It helped me a lot with other projects too. I had it before I started painting. 😉 Wheels can be tricky indeed!
