So, have a day off work today to paint my youngest room, couldn't resist having such a large "canvas" That's how much painting takes over, and how much I'm hooked on to it now, I just wish I could have met Bob Ross to thank him for what he as done for me, I'm at my most relaxed when I paint and I'd NEVER been able to relax until I stumbled across "The joy of painting" It's actually quite emotional writing this, it took me 49 years and the death of my dad almost exactly two years ago to understand I can't do everything everyday without a rest, I almost broke myself with stress and after dad went suddenly I had to change,I miss him everyday. So if you are watching from above Bob, Thank You, thank you a million times for helping me.🙏

Reminds me that I saw a young lady once, on Youtube, that painted in a few hours her entire bedroom wall with a giantesque Bob Ross recreation. I was SO jealous!!!
The thought has crossed my mind but waiting until I'm a little more experienced 😁
Nivek, too bad you didn't leave this on the wall, it looks great! I am so glad that you have been able to find painting as a creative outlet, and I am so glad you know you have friends here. We all have struggles, and it's nice to know we have a safe space here to share the creative outlet of those.

Awe bless you Nivek. You are among friends here. I do believe Bob has helped a lot of people, myself included. We are told all our lives that we have to go to school, we have to go to college, university, whatever it might be, to learn how to do things, and then Bob came along and told us all we can paint. I never would have believed it but we can, and it really is a joy. If he could see your painting he would say it is one almighty canvas! Well done.
