So, I've been invited to another gallery and I'm hoping to put a few pieces in for sale, just my normal dark and moody stuff you understand 🤣 I'm thinking this piece is about half way through but I'm again asking your suggestions on how to finish it, Ship or no Ship, row boat or maybe something else? Acrylics on hardboard photo frame approx 22"x1 18" paintable area, pic just about shows them asking tape border. Thanks all 🙏
No black in there Bob apart from black gesso on the hardboard, I use Payne's grey, Blue and Red
I could see a ship in this one.

This looks amazing already Niv!!! Maybe even a small lighthouse to guide those ships in this rocky raging sea!
Awesome. I would not change much here, maybe a real bright spot representing the moon and very few highlights here and there where the moon hits.
🤦🏼♂️ sadly it's been ruined, slight accident in the shed, will try and recreate it 😡

How do you get the colors so dark? Merely mix black with everything?
