Stream running through the meadow, it dawned on me that all the streams run towards the viewer so I thought I'd try one that runs into the painting and disappears into the background, I'd like feedback if you are seeing that flow direction or not please. Thanks 🙏
So I think your confusion is - The bottom right corner (start of the stream) IS HIGHER than the middle of the painting (so I fist see it going AWAY from me DOWNHILL), BUT...then as it continues into the painting, it goes back uphill again. So your stream dips in the center. Nice composition!
I can see by logic it runs away from me coz there is elevation on the right side and water flows down.

PS I had once the same idea - it did not work. few years later i understood why. So now I dont even try to show direction of the rivers.
I think if the end of the stream dropped a tiny bit lower it would work perfectly. Great composition and beautiful brush work on the trees and grass.

As far as the river... I see it running away from the viewer. I do see what Pam explains. At the curvy part or right after it curves, that's where it dips, it does seem it goes up the hill slightly afterwards. It's an easy fix, I think. I'll email you with picture (s). Too long to explain here. 😁
