Just paying with colours in my sky's currently, used 12x10 canvas, black base. Not happy with my mountains at all so will need to practice lots of them, sadly I don't have any within 300 miles so can't easily visit.
I like everything in your painting Nivek. Your mountains look great. I actually thought it was your painting style. Your sky and its colors... gorgeous!

no, I don't have any mountains nearby sadly. just cant get the effect I'm looking for with the snow break currently, ill get there I'm sure one day!
I am in the same boat Nivek. I live in Bob Ross’s native state… FL. No mountains around. One day, I would love to go to Alaska and see those majestic mountains Bob always talks about in his videos.
Me too, always wanted to go there although I did manage to get to Canada once which was just as beautiful and managed Scotland in April which was just as lovely.
