Acrylic on cardboard, interesting experience this, the paint drys so quickly and gives an interesting effect. Fire in the woods but nobody is around 🤦🏼♂️

Really awesome! Did you purposely use the color of the cardboard when choosing your gold and brown color palette? It works very well.
Thank you. The cardboard was as white as snow to begin with so I used a burnt umber, white and black underpaint in various shades from outside to in to give depth in the forest before adding distant tree trunks. I'm not one for planning or sketching my work, just apply some paint, stand back, look for shapes,Patten's and form then just paint it from imagination. 🤷♂️
