My quest for that super wave leads to this painting.I will be making some more changes.

Look for more contrast with this one Pietro. The green mingles too much with the blue. Either form a barrier (sand.rocks) and/or make the palmleaves dark and give a simple highlight with green.
Also the sea and sky almost have no beginning and ending. It might've helped if you kept those white clouds higher in the sky and not above the horizon where they mingle with the waves.
