Pink Sands, March 2019, 16x20, oils
A few years ago, with very little experience, I attempted this original based on a photo from a magazine. At the time, I had only watched a few episodes with Bob-none of which were seascapes-and just borrowed a few techniques.
I think only liquid white and two colors were used: blue and magenta.
Lovely colors! I like the grassy detail in the foreground.
Very striking! The grasses are fabulous. Amazing what you can achieve with so few colours.
