I used Bob's Liquid clear with alizarin crimson, Prussian blue and white + mineral spirits to make the background effect. Let that dry. Made a Christmas tree cutout using peel and stick wallpaper, then applied that to dried background. Then I painted a landscape using Bob's traditional techniques. After peeling up the paper, this is what I got!
