14x18 Oil on canvas. The sky started off as blue, it was unbalanced both in color and movement. I added a ton of yellow and some orange that sky. I also added some diagonal lines in green pointing towards house to try to give it some movement. In real life it is very textured / impasto so I think that gives a bit of interest. That didn't photograph well. Overall - it has just been a struggle, but I think I'm done with it!

Nice! The color scheme (and likely texture) reminds me of some Dutch guy who had an accident with his ear.
Yes, definitely have some Van Gogh influence.
