So beautiful! Just curious, I love Multimedia Art. What made you choose to use both acrylic and oil? How’s the drying going?
I had a watercolor that I didn't like, so I gesso'd over it. I did an acrylic painting of the sprite that was less detailed, but it looked flat. So I glazed over in oils.
Fabulous! Especially the gessoing over the watercolors… they just scare me. Watercolors can be very translucent and hard to work with for me visually. Thanks for the tip!
When watercolor works... its awesome and fast. When it doesnt work, gesso over and reuse paper. That way have less guilt about expensive paper. Feels more free to thonk of that way

Wonderful idea, was it fun to do? Great fairy, and the waterclooks dreamy. My fairy painting was the most fun of all for me.
