Used quite a few lavenders in this, then finished with white to convert to a frozen winterscape. Enjoy!
This reminds me of a trip I took to Scotland. Coming from a place that never sees snow, I loved walking around the frozen little lake (loch). This painting took me right back to that day!

Fantastic little painting, I love the way there's just a hint of colour on both sides that's obviously the source of the reflections in the water, draws you in. The frost and snow really work too 😊
