Today I felt like painting, but had no plan or no inspiration. I just improvised as I went, and here’s the result.
This is great. The scenery/landscape is really unique.

Alex_Ander - It's probably not as "refined" as some of the more thought out pieces I've done, but I enjoyed the process.
What really caught my eye was the sandy-colored earth leading up to the mountain. It also feels as if the mountain is a lot closer than what is depicted in "normal" mountain paintings. To me, those two things made it unique.
Plus, I like it when someone can pull off a simple painting (not many items), but the scene still looks full. Not sure if I'm saying that right.

I think the scorched earth on the mountain is excellent, it is exactly what you would expect to see surrounding a Dragon's lair! The viewpoint is dangerously close too. Lovely work.
