Inspired by Moana and the star navigation used to find your way on the sea. This is the largest “starry sky” painting I’ve done at 18x24 inches. Really like the overall feel of the scene.

In case that kind of thing interests anyone, if you zoom in, you can some real astronomical things in the sky which are possible to see - Orion, with the "soon" to be supernova Betelgeuse, the Pleiades, Cassiopea, a binary star system similar to Algeiba (a blue giant and a red dwarf), and the Triangle constellation.
