Cabin under a Bright Sky

Ssobel 15 Apr 2020

Obviously in Bob Ross fashion, but not after a specific painting. I think my barn turned out pretty good, but I'm not a fan of the mountains...too steep and not enough breaking on the white. I ran out of good Titanium white and had to use junk from Michaels...nope, never again... :-)

Voy Kay Conqueror of Challenges

There two golden rules to mountains according to Bob. One is to always use ferm/thick paint, the other is never to put pressure on the knife. The latter needs some practice but eventually, you will get there, no worries.

There is article in Community > Articles with how to make snow to brake and how to de-oil paint. Try and see if it works for you to get you where you want.
As Voy said it takes practice and quite a lot...but then there is this "Aaah" moment
