love the texture, is that paint splatter or something like sand ontop? If I had to name a vibe, I'd say 'peace'. very nice :D
@Jeffth, this is sand embeded with the paint in the bottom layer. Objective was to create the texture only on the object of the interest, so background, laptop, desk and chair are flat. This is supposed to help viewer to distinguish between the things.
Oops. laptop is a life for this woman. so it has texture too.

Thanks David! Abstracts are incredibly difficult as composition/design become the priority and while in landscape i could get away with weak composition due to details in abstract - nope - it must be strong to be attractive. I do suffer with it...
