This is another acrylics I approached today. This time the same limited pallet but with brown: blue, cad red, magenta, warm yellow, brown, green, white.
A4, acrylics on canvas paper.
Thanks Lilikins! I was trying to create a pink sky in both paintings. Something went wrong in both. :) but I think I am on the right track. I will reestablish colors on cliff and buildings as they darkened too much and now not distinguishable to show light condition.
The colors and tonal balance is so great in both of these! The reflections on the water really shine. Great work!
Thanks a lot Dracula! I never thought about tonal balance, but seems it is something I did anyway. Let me google what that is to tell myself i am moving in right direction. Thanks for your wonderful feedback.

I like the purple but I don’t know something about blue in the last one was very striking. I love that dramatic cliff face.
