Absolutely free hand. No pencil.
Nice sketch with watercolors.
Since I am at 0 level with watercolors this is something I produced out of blue to just paint from nature.
Watercolors set for kids. 12 colors.
Paper is A5 format.
Your trees look great!

Oh this is really difficult and under this preconditions you did a fantastic job. Normally if I do regular watercolors (without ink) I draw rough shapes (not very detailed) with the pencil, this gives me more security with the perspective etc.
A hint from my side: To me the most important thing in watercolor is the paper. I prefer a very absorbent one. Best for me is cotton paper which doesn't dry too fast.
Thank you guys for your endless support!
@Tom: I will consider this. So far this is second best paper I have tried. Anyway if I try more water color I will switch to something better for paper. Perspective wise it is a first time I saw some strange behavior of the perspective from the point I am. I was lost a bit but anyway tried to think how to transfer to the paper. It looked like one point mixed with 2 point in real life. Something absolutely weird.
I think it will be a challenge to find cotton paper in Russia, but I will try.
I have tried several papers, I like Arches and W&N professional best yet. In my last shared painting I used rough grain. It is also very nice.
I will take a look when next time in hobby shop. I need to restock on oils anyway soon.
