Another still life, the same arrangement as yesterday. This time I used another limited palette, the colours were Titanium White, Burnt Sienna, and Ultramarine Blue. The goal of the study was to always keep colour temperature in mind. I used a warm coloured table lamp, so the colours in light are warm, and shadows are comparably colder in tone.
I think I fared decently. I think I always had the colour temperature in mind, and the results are decent. Maybe I exaggerated the warm light a bit too much, the white cup looks more like beige as the result. The handle is a bit messy, I think I fell into painting little too exactly all the gradients I saw, and the big picture hurt as a result.
Mixing and colour control is hard! :P
