Another forest scene with spring vibes.
Inspired by "After the Rain" by Bob Ross. I liked how he did the puddles on the dirt path.
It literally took me 2 hours to finally pass the bravery test and put in that big tree on the right. LOL!
I do however like it: it does add more depth to the painting, imho.
Meh, why does the image look so blurry... Does it look blurry to you as well?

It's a shame the image looks so blurry now, because the fine details in the background cannot be seen now. I used the oval brush for the foliage.

This is a really beautiful forest scene. I like it even better than Bob’s. I like the openness and the big tree trunks. Wonderful depth and natural color. I’ve been looking for a really nice forest scene to paint and this one speaks to me. I think I’ll try my own rendition and try to emulate some of your techniques. Thanks for submitting this painting and providing such inspiration!
