Our ducks, this is based on a photograph of our Khaki Campbell drake Herman, loved muddling around in the mud after the rain. ❤️
This paint is rather simple with how the areas look: kinda flat.
I also made a version of this painting with woodblock/linoleum print.
I think this painting has a very strong composition, that simplicity of brush strokes get absorbed into compositional beauty.
