"Tiger"
January 4, 2026
Oils on canvas
50x65 cm
A tiger using the Bob Ross Wildlife technique.
First try.
I did use the template that comes with the Wildlife Tiger painting package.
I then followed the instructions in the booklet, after watching a video by Bea Cox.
On the additional pictures you can see the process.
1. Underpainting with black, grey and white gesso.
2. Painted the eyes with oils and put in a rough background
3. The underpainting has been glazed with transparant oils, before adding the fur details.
Stunning. He looks like he'll walk out of that painting any second!
Fabulous and so realistic!
Gorgeous! Payed video I guess?
A DVD.
Bought a couple of them from a lady on marktplaats.
Also got flower and wildlife brushes and about a 100 small tubes of Bob Ross paint. Mostly the soft oils for Flowers and Wildlife.
Took me a few weeks to clean all the tubes (old oliy and sticky oil stains) but it was worth it. Most of the tubes are 80% or more full, and most are still soft.
The eyes are beautiful, I expect they can either make or break a painting like this. Well done.
Rrrrrrr..me luvs the the tiger!!u captured the beauty, colors n spirits of this majestic creature.Cheers.P
Such careful, meticulous work.
